intrface

A consultancy that ships its own software.

INTRFACE is an IT consulting and business development company in Vrsar, Istria — one engineer, Alex Bašić. Client software for businesses across the EU, plus Voyager, Polis and Funda of our own. All of it goes through the same review before anything ships.

Two kinds of work, one set of checks.

Client work usually starts the same way: something already runs, and the software around it has stopped explaining it. Nobody can see the current state, the operators keep a private spreadsheet, and the people who need to trust the output cannot check it.

Voyager, Polis and Funda are not a side activity. They are where we hit the hard constraints first: fine-grained authorization, audit trails nobody can quietly rewrite, multilingual content that has to stay correct, deploys that have to keep working. We pay for those lessons on our own time and bring the result to client work.

You can read how we work before you hire us: the rules our agents run under, and the check that puts a person in front of every change. All of it is public.

How working with us runs.

Four steps. The first one is worth having on its own.

  1. 01

    Map the system

We sit with the people who operate it and write down what actually happens — the steps, the exceptions, the spreadsheet everyone quietly depends on. You keep the map whether or not we build anything.

  2. 02

    Define the interface

We agree what the software has to make legible, who is allowed to see what, and what counts as proof. Scope gets cut here, in writing, before anyone opens an editor.

  3. 03

    Build with agents

Agents work against the written rules in your own project and a task list that says what is still open. They propose; a person reads the change and signs it off.

  4. 04

    Prove it

Automated tests and audits on every change, then a deploy you can open in a browser. Every surface is labeled for what it is: live, demonstration, or not built yet.

Every step leaves something you keep: the map, the written scope, the repo with its task ledger, the deploy and its check output. If we stop after step one, you are not back where you started.

What we pay for ourselves.

Status as of today, not as of the pitch.

Voyager

Pre-launch

One QR code gives a restaurant a multilingual AI host grounded in its own menu and hours. Place intelligence for tourism destinations, seeded for Vrsar, with no public launch yet.
Polis

Open source · pre-deployment

Civic infrastructure for verifiable government data, where every public claim traces to a source document. Its own docs label each surface verifiable, demonstration, or not yet live.
Funda

Active build

EU funding matched to the organizations that can win it. Agent ingestion of SEDIA and TED sources, geospatial matching, three languages.

Client sites run the same way: an Instagram profile goes in, a bilingual site on a live URL comes out, with a Playwright audit in the middle — see the six steps.

Bring us the messy system.

Tell us what is hard to understand, slow to operate, or difficult to trust. You get Alex, not a sales sequence, and an answer within one working day.

What helps

  • What the system does today, and who operates it.
  • Where it breaks, or where nobody trusts the numbers.
  • Any date that is already fixed.
